Room to grow: Zenith Networks expands at Portview

Belfast IT company Zenith Networks moved into a 4,000 sq ft Portview office, tripling its operating space and creating room for further growth.

In 2017, Belfast IT company Zenith Networks expanded into larger premises at Portview, taking around 4,000 sq ft of open-plan office space and tripling its operating footprint.

The move followed a period of growth for the business and gave the team room for further recruitment and expansion. Contemporary coverage described the new premises as an important part of Zenith’s plans to broaden both its customer base and the range of services it provided.

For Portview, the story is an early example of the role the former Strand Spinning Mill has played as a practical home for growing businesses. The site has always accommodated a mix of uses and business sizes, giving companies the opportunity to take on more space as their needs change.

That flexibility remains part of Portview’s purpose today: creating distinctive, workable space in East Belfast where independent businesses can establish themselves, develop and grow.
