RENDR 2026 brings global creative talent to Portview
RENDR returned to Portview and Banana Block for two days of talks and experiences spanning film, gaming, animation, immersive technology and digital art.

RENDR returned to Portview and Banana Block in February 2026, bringing together creative practitioners and audiences from across film, gaming, animation, immersive technology and digital art.
The two-day evening festival combined talks with installations, exhibitions, demonstrations and experiences designed to explore the space between creativity and technology.
The programme featured more than 30 creatives, with contributors connected to major international studios and companies including Netflix, Pixar, Walt Disney Studios and Epic Games.
For Portview, RENDR demonstrates how the former Strand Spinning Mill can operate at a very different scale from its original industrial purpose while retaining the qualities that make the building distinctive. Large, adaptable spaces can accommodate audiences, installations, talks and experimental work in ways that conventional venues often cannot.
The festival also reinforces the growing connection between Portview’s business community, learning activity and public programme — bringing contemporary creative industries into a building rooted in Belfast’s industrial past.
