Portview shortlisted for Belfast’s Best Business Hub

Portview was named as one of four finalists for the 2024 Aisling Award for Best Business Hub, recognising the role Belfast business centres play in helping companies establish and grow.

The shortlist placed Portview alongside Innovation Factory, Ulster Bank Accelerator and North City Business Centre.

In announcing the finalists, Belfast Media described Portview as a business hub helping to transform inner East Belfast. The award criteria focused not only on facilities, but also on the support and environment business centres provide to the organisations based within them.

For Portview, the recognition reflected a model that has developed over decades: adapting the former Strand Spinning Mill into affordable and distinctive space for a varied community of independent businesses while reinvesting in the building and its future.

The shortlist also highlighted the contribution that business hubs and social-enterprise workspaces can make beyond their own boundaries — supporting jobs, enterprise, investment and the regeneration of the communities around them.
